With Italian resorts now making it complusory to wearing a helmet for skiers and snowboarders if they are under 14 years old. We are also aware that many Austrian resorts and Ski Schools are now looking to bringing in regulations for Ski helmets to be worn.
Whilst no one can ensure and should not think that wearing a helmet will stop head injuries or fully protect them in case of a fall or collision. Helmets can provide more protection to the head in many cases. It is important that full advice and following correct procedures and fitting be followed.
